Sin 34 "Do You Feel Safe?"
Formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by teenaged punk fans; singer Julie Lanfeld, drummer Dave Markey, and bassist Phil Newman went through a few guitarists before finding permanence in Mike Glass in the fall of ’81. The band released its first single, a five track EP titled “Die Laughing” on Newman’s independent label, Spinhead Records in 1982, and this lead to many a gig with the likes of the Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, The Misfits, Social Distortion, The Minutemen, DOA, & Bad Religion. The band recorded for a series of compilations including “Charred Remains”, We Got Power’s “Party Or Go Home”, & Gary Kail’s “Life is Boring”. In 1983 the band recorded and released their one and only album “Do You Feel Safe” (Spinhead), and toured their home state and Arizona. In 1984 the band recorded a track for Markey’s independent film “Desperate Teenage Lovedolls”, and did a few shows before disbanding in the fall of that year. !n 1995, the LA label Grand Theft Audio releases “Die Listening” CD, a collection of demos, live, and compilation tracks. Cut forward a dozen years to the fall of 2007, Julie initiates an all original member reunion, and the band meets and rehearses for the first time in 23 years. New recordings, first time reissues (remixed and re-mastered) of the long out of print EP and LP, and live shows to follow this year. Impaled Nazarene "Suomi Finland Perkele + Motorpenis EP"
This fine Finnish blackened metallic punk crew truly craft a masterful mix of genres, combining blasting drumbeats with a true punk rock attitude. The sound of punk, metal and power violence are overwhelming, not unlike the almighty Darkthrone. Also check out their side project The Rocking Dildos for an even more straightforward punkish tone. Check it out, you might be surprised. Tracklist: 1) Intro 2) Vitutuksen Multihuipennus 3) Blood Is Thicker Than Water 4) Steelvagina 5) Total War - Winter War 6) Quasb/The Burning 7) Kuoleme Kaikille (Paitsi Meille) 8) Let's Fucking Die 9) Genocide 10) Ghettoblaster 11) The Oath Of The Goat Motorpenis EP: 12) Motorpenis 13) Whore 14) S/M Party 15) Transvestite 16) Alkohol Impaled Nazarene - Mediafire **OR** Impaled Nazarene - Megaupload |

Genesis P-Orridge
/ artists (G) Real Name:Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (formerly Neil Andrew Megson)Profile:Born February 22, 1950 in Manchester, England as Neil Andrew Megson. Cultural engineer, merry prankster, wrecker of civilisation, anti-Pope of the Temple ov Psychic Youth, musical pioneer, bizarre man/woman hybrid - Genesis P-Orridge is arguably one of the most important icons of alternative culture of the latter quarter of the 20th Century and beyond. With Coum Transmissions, he challenged social boundaries with art; with Throbbing Gristle, he played a part in fundamentally redefining music; as the core of Psychic TV, he brought this challenge to the mainstream, ultimately becoming a seminal influence on the dance music sub-culture in the UK. He courted controversy with pictures of his piercings in the RE:Search book "Modern Primitives", experimental video projects led to his eight-year exile from the UK, a near-death experience led to him engaging in extreme body modification, along with his new wife Lady Jaye, to become the pandrogyne. For over 30 years, Genesis has done the unexpected, challenged everything and he continues to do so. In 2003, Genesis P-Orrdige changed his identity to Genesis/Djin Breyer P-Orridge along with life partner Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge (a.k.a. Mother Jack/Miss Jackie). He began a performance series called Breaking Sex that was initiated by both he and Lady J. Breyer. This project is about re-union and re-solution of male and female to a perfecting hermaphroditic state and has been named Pandrogeny by P-Orridge. The project includes having cosmetic surgeries that blur the lines between their sexes and bring them nearer to being one physically. He also relaunched Psychic TV as PTV3 in 2003.
