Long-time fan or just checked it out there? It's a great album I reckon anyway yeah - I don't think it really did much outside of the whole NWA scene last year, which is a shame because I've played it to a few friends who've really got into it.

Same, I prefer the second nowadays. I like the darker feel and the denser textures etc. I found them through Plan B actually, probably sandwiched between two all-girl shitrock groups or something. As are Everett's obsession.

i got into them with that album; it appealed to me because it has the whole early fairport convention feel to it but trippier and more contemporary, and yes darker, the layering is amazing, how they have this black sabbath riffs with the acoustic guitars and those great voices.

i have forgotten to check out the first album.
