Sitting on my couch, waiting on my friends to drop by on their way to a party. I could probably tag-along if I wanted to but I end up feeling awkward because one of them goes to meet guys and I inhibit that, but if they ask I'll throw on my party shoes and go.

Yeah, going to parties with people who are just looking to hook up with someone can be rather shitty.

You could end up having a good time though! Normally when I go out and do something I'm unsure about I end up having a lot more fun than I would just sitting at home by myself.

but sometimes I don't have fun and I have to make such an effort to look like I am having fun and socializing that I don't bother.

Yeah, I'd for sure have a better time out there than in my apartment. Quality of alcohol is also a factor: out there is only cheap keg beer, here I have vodka and whiskey and tunes. I don't, I'll feel out the situation when they get here in a few.

I got drunk with my best friend a couple of hours ago. She just left the apartment because she wanted to "get some vibe" so she went to some disco or somewhere.
it's 2.30 AM. it's ridiculous. i better turn this machine off and go to sleep because otherwise I'll feel old.

This is true. However, in Amerikkka, I'm still technically underage and these parties have a habit of getting busted and I really don't need a MIP charge a exactly a month before I turn 21. Next month, fuck yeah, I'll go and bring my own bottle.
