Yep, no argument there. Although did he actually play in the Prem at his height? I thought he was at Spurs when it was still the 1st Division.

yeah he had the massive injury in the 91 cup final with Spurs, then went off to Lazio, then Rangers, I dont think he came back to England until he went to Boro. Even so, if he counts as a Prem era player he's head and shoulders above anyone else. Nobody's come close to being named player of the tournament at a World Cup like Gazza was at Italia 90.

No, you're right. Problem is whenever Gazza's name is mentioned I always end up killing hours watching him on youtube. Not the funny stuff, or the tragedy, just the brilliance.

Hahaha nah last night I was able to sit back and just enjoy watching them play as well as they did. Just. Save for Mane and Lovren everyone was on fire last night. I am glad that Roma managed to two goals back though. Makes next week even more interesting.
I used to work in a warehouse before going back to decorating a coupla years back. Among the 12 or so people I worked with 5 of them were Liverpool fans. Boy am I glad I don't work there at the moment! They'll absolutely insufferable at the moment.

Bayern/Real tonight I actually can't call this one at all. Last night's I think everyone was looking at Liverpool as firm favourites. There's no outright in this one.

I'm backing Real over the two legs. Ramos's return will be important for them. Also Bayern will be without Vidal and Neuer.
