Bit of a confession: for the first time in my life, on a scale from one to ten my excitement for the World Cup is barely hovering over a shitty two. This is what happens when, after 100 years of abject failure, you spend approximately a decade playing great fútbol and actually winning stuff, and then the abject failure makes a bloody comeback. Plus, the fuckin' thing is in the Putinland! All I know now is I want certain teams to crash out of the Cup real damn quick...

belgium should do well this round! great players and a favorable group.

sure everyone is for the great debruyne and therefore $$$ but a rising tide lifts all boats

updates: peru’s flores who plays in denmark will start agains denmark (i see slavo has in bench).this is great for saturday. however in other games he might alternate with andre carrillo, who scored in the latest friendly. im sticking to flores on a high risk gamble. but yotun might get more playtime (h8kurdt).

OH SHIT I NEED A CAPTAIN

if he messes up there’s a few days to correct
