clockwork orange & shining are wonderful but not life-changing in a way. sure you must see them but your life could pretty much be the same.
from kubrick i'd pick paths of glory & the underrated barry lyndon as potentially life-altering flicks. |

No movie is capable of changing your life, the "life-changing" aspect is up to you. That part is your responsibility. There is no such thing as a life-altering film.
