Rolling Stones? You mean that English rock band from the sixties? I'm not that old.

I suppose you donīt like also such great artist as the Stooges, Velvet Underground, the Doors and Jimi Hendrix because they started their career before you was born. To me it doesnīt matter, when music has made. I like a lot some classic music eventhough most of it has made a hundred years before I was born. I also like Django Reinhardt, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Eddie Cochran eventhough their best music has made decades before I was born. Of course you have to limit your music some way, because there is lots of good music in the world. But I donīt think the age is good princible. I think most of the todayīs world problems is caused when people donīt nowdays understand entities. And if you want to understand some entity, you must know something about itīs history. Of course you donīt have to listen anything for that sake, to me the only thing that is important in music is that it moves me strongly. In my opinion in old music is much more feelings than the most of the new music. |

You're right. Age doesn't matter. And I don't like the Doors, of course.
But I like Шостакович, he's older than Django Reinhardt.

I just listened Exile on main street today (maybe listened half years ago before this day) and even I still think Beggars is the best, Exile is also very great!!! I think no-one has made after that such great, pure Rīn`r-record! The other one I listened today was finnish band: Electric Blue peggy Sue and the revolutionions from mars: Music for mcdonalds. I can recommend this all stooges fans, itīs maybe little more extreme than Stooges! This is their best record, hope you who donīt live in Finland can get it somewhere! In my opinion many Stooges-based bands are quite lame (for example Turbo Negro, Hellacopters) but this band sure isnīt!
