- i am far too irresponsible to care for a child, i can barely care for myself.
- i would absolutely not be ok with what pregnancy and childbirth would possibly do to my body.
- i don't need the stress.
- i hate doctors.
- the change in my lifestyle would be so drastic and awful that i would go insane. little fun sucker.
- i can't quit smoking.
- i can't quit smoking pot.
- it is extremely selfish to procreate when there are so many children in the world waiting to be adopted.

and go ahead and call me selfish for wanting to party instead of sit at home with a kid hanging off my tit, i'm not about to destroy my life. i have friends and a job and a boyfriend and a lot of shit to get done as it is, there's quite enough on my plate.

i also had a dream i was pregnant and i was going to die and i was trying to live enough to make it happen and also shopping for make up but it was all broken.

What is selfish is having a baby and partying instead of taking care of yr responsibilities. So i don't think yr selfish.

My body has been ravaged by my kids. I had to have c-sections cause they were so big and I am so little and my stomach looks like a watermelon from stretch marks..it was worth it though....my little sonic gail is the spitting image of me. They definitly keep things interesting.

thank you. i didn't think it was selfish either but other people see things differently.
i already have stretch marks from when i grew. i don't need more. and i do like kids. i just don't want any. i've said it since i was 8 years old.

i think it is fucking disgusting when people act like a woman's only ambition should be to have kids. it is a great thing to do, and maybe i will consider doing it someday, you know, but i dont think it is essential as a goal. people should be entitled to not suffer any sort of pressure.

it is great to have children yes, but if you can and you're willing to dedicate all the efforts.

there are lots of children without parents, and im afraid some people are always considering having children as if they want a mini version of themselves, they just dont put enough effort in it. they want to plan their whole future as if they were to satisfy your every dream and as if they belong to the parents and were not their own person. i think that is awful.

there are so many people in the world and the population is growing so rapidly it could double in 50 years - that is the MAIN factor to consider in a world of climate change where food, housing, water is likely to become more scarce than it is now.

it is someones right to want to reproduce or not, and it doesnt make them less or more selfish.

i am fucking tired of people talking as if a woman who doesn't want babies is selfish and as if its supposed to be her biggest dream in life.

the countries with the most need for people to adopt their kids, china for example, require immense amounts of time and money to complete adoptions. prospective parents are required to travel to chine at least 3 separate times before they can return with their new baby.

there are a lot of safeguards in place, many of which do not work, because people unscrupulously adopt children, especially disabled children, as a means to get government money, tax breaks, and welfare. fucking horrible shit.

I agree with what sonic gail, satan, and know have said. A woman should not be told she is selfish for not wanting to have a kid, now or ever. It is not her goal, and not yours to say it is. They are other kids out there, who need adoption. The system need to be fixed so more kids can be adopted.

and for the record I wasn't insinuating that Satan was selfish or any other women for that matter I was referring to if she or any other women got accidently pregnant which is where we started out if I'm not mistaken. My Sister has no children never will have and that's ok by me.
