Interesting and pretty scary. Americans snatched up the rights for a remake, I'm guessing its gonna be a horrible attempt as usual, as they drag whatever made this movie enjoyable thru the mud. |

It just annoyed me, I watched it at 3 AM and was falling asleep so I might have to give it a go, but everything about it just rubbed me the wrong way.

maybe the 3AM was part of it. It just ended up being a lot different than I expected (so maybe that's why I liked it so much). I just thought that Jesse's character was played pretty well (for not being Michael Sera, haha) and well Kristin Stewert is awesome. And Bill from Freaks & Geeks was in it!! And Falco.

I liked Righteous Kill until the ending.
I like Al Pacino better as an actor than Robert De Niro.

Just was flipping through channels and watched Bart Has A Room. Some 2008 low-key comedy about a kid and his senior prom. Obviously the director was hugely Wes Anderson influenced with how he did the movie.
It's fairly short but served its purpose and had some funny moments. It's been coming on HBO and other channels this month, so if you have 90 minutes to kill there are worse things you can do. ~Jeremy~

6/10 Like Yellow, an interesting, well-made, if pretentious (almost detrimentally so) film. Mostly interesting as a cultural document than anything. |

9/10. I really loved it, not Apatow's most hilarious movie but certainly his smartest movie. Most people think it's too long but the length wasn't a problem at all for me.

"Funny People" had to be one of the most misunderstood films of last year. I literally know two people who don't hate it. But shit, Sandler went off in that flick in a performance that was funny and sad and pathetic and amazing. Eric Bana was great. Eminem's cameo was the best surprise I saw in a film last year.
The length. Waaaay too fucking long. I appreciate that this was a passion project for two long time friends in Apatow and Sandler, but this movie had montages that went on for 7 minutes at a time! They could have cut some of those montage scenes the fuck out. All and all, great movie I thought.

Yeah, I've been meaning to watch it, but 2 1/2 hours of Sandler seems a bit much..
