try the novel, I'm serious, it was sheer terror, I was honestly frightened by it, but yet couldn't put it down until it was done. Quote:
the only problem with that, is regardless to popularity, some things still fucking suck in their own right. For example, the Nazis were quite popular, but surely they fucking sucked. The same with Lil Wayne, actually people quite like the shit he calls rap music, but surely it still fucking sucks

In-fucking-credible movie. Great stuff in there. Very fine movie. Made me think alot of Wages of Fear really. Mainly in the sections of prolonged intentionally ongoing tension. Nowhere near as good as Wages but still formidable. The scenarios were exciting and I liked that anyone remotely famous was barely in the movie. I didn't really look for any kind of political message or agenda, I just looked at it as a straight up middle-eastern war thriller, and that was fine enough. Decent picture, Casino Royale was the better effort though I think. The film had plenty of interesting action sequences, though some were really annoyingly edited and are hardly inventive or original. Craig plays Bond interestingly coldly which is a neat change and it's fun to watch how absolutely unconcerned with everything he is. Craig's Bond couldn't be any more inverted from the tongue in cheek Bond we typically know. But it has some shortcomings, a moderately (and uninteresting) presented villain, average Bond girl, jagged plot, among other things, but ultimately still watchable without leaving a bad taste in the mouth.

I didn't think you liked Lil Wayne out of ignorance so much as just a decision out of poor taste, but we all have our own musical guilty pleasures. Have you caught that Janelle Monae yet? I know a hip hop fanatic like you could appreciate that straight mo-town-electronica

here's the thing, which I mentioned recently about Gucci Mane. Entertainers have almost nothing to do with talent etc. It's about entertainment. Wayne is a hard worker, and he's constantly releasing shit that's entertaining. That makes me happy.

NR, just because I'm a wicked clown...doesn't mean I have to make you laugh.
PS: Gucci Mane is a boss. |

you like Gucci Mane, guy?
I'm surprised. Though I think he's incredibly awesome, interesting, generous and captivating -- he's far less talented than Weezy.

I dug Quantum of Solace a lot, because it showed the clinical coldness that Bond MUST have to do his job right. How he had to leave aside what makes him "human"

I haven't like a James Bond movie since...
*crickets chirp* That last Sean Connery one. Er, the one before Never Say Never Again at least. |

9/10 I loved the homages to classic escape flicks... as well as the fact that it was just an all around great movie. Additional note: it seemed like it was made for me and people my age, who were 5 or 6 when the original came out, who are now growing up and going to college. It just really resonated with me. And in a complete 180: ?/10 God help me, I just don't know what I think of this movie yet.

It's like Faces of Death but real. Faces of Death is half fake/quarter real but with shit added onto it/quarter 100% real.

"Ils", a Romanian/French horror movie. Quite entertaining, however failed to thrill/scare me. Good camera work, fairly absent storyline, short running time. 6/10.
