i feel dumb now. Homewerk would be top 15 at least for me... and for not recognizing Vision Creation Newsun as 1999... i don't know why I was so certain that it was 2000. VCN would have been top 3 for me. and Pop Tatari i should have put 21-22... damnit

Ride was probably closer to MBV prior to _Isn't Anything_, in that they used 60's song forms against a cloud of distortion. from thereonin, MBV diverted wildly from Ride.

Sure. They still certainly contributed to the whole shoegaze thing with 'Nowhere' and their image, plus made quite a bit of fast money. More than MBV at the time of Loveless, if memory serves me well.
