I first listened to Bull in the Heather, and I just loved the experimental nature of it, so I had to check out more. The next song, Sympathy for the Strawberry, just about did it: I was in love with SY ever since.

Teen Age Riot when I listened to DDN on CD for the first time. It would have been in late October, early November. I had read/heard several good things about the album and I needed a change from my listening habits at the time which was a lot of Doors and Pixies

It's hard to say, because I heard a lot of their stuff before I ever really got into them, so I wasn't paying attention to what songs were playing.
The first song that really caught my attention though was schizophrenia, and it's all history from there.

I was 15 and I first listened to schizophrenia. I never realized that I actually was listening to SY till a couple of year later. Anyway, that song changed my conception of how rock songs must be written and listened. Bye. |
