i watched superbad with my girlfriend besides that, my mom and i used to watch the twin peaks season 1 dvd when i was 16, she loved it from the early 90's and i was jsut gettin into lynch, so we bonded over the show, it was nice, anyways, she got me the gold edition twin peaks box set and im watching it over and over, no room for other movies. theres a ton that i wana see tho |

I didn't understand any of it, but it was really really funny! The Rock and Sarah Michelle Gellar were excellent in it!!!!! |

Yeah it supposed to be a bit crazy! If you read the comics it's meant to make more sense. Really wanna see it but the shitty cinema's in Preston show fuck all but the 'big' films.

seijun suzuki's kagero-za starts a bit slow and disorienting, but once you become one with its weirdness it becomes so awesome... i just wish i knew more about japanese culture so i'd "get" everything. |

Finally watched History Of Violence. Pretty great, I didn't like just one scene but I won't tell which one it was.
Then watched The Darwin Awards, LAME.

I am Legend - digital vampires suck (no pun intended) Couldn't they put makeup on a couple of actors for the close-ups at least?
Now it's time to rewatch OmegaMan with Charlton Heston and watch for the first time, Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price. Vincent Price is everything that horror aspires to be.

Eastern Promises
fukin' A. I'm so glad I dled and watched it in original language instead of paying 7 euros to go and see it lamely (?) dubbed in italian... yeah, go sue me! They should give you the option to listen to the original audio track bringing your own headphones from home(no hygenic issues, no costs for cinemas) with a standard 3.5 mm plug in the seats...that would be great. I'd run my personal theather that way. I bet someone somewhere is already doing that. Sadly not here in my town.

Moments ago my pregnant wife and I both finished watching Eraserhead for the first time.
We both like Lynch and have seen most of his movies, and she's a big fan, and we knew this was supposed to be among his very creepiest. Nonetheless, if we'd fully grasped the subject matter ahead of time, we might have waited a couple more years... |

That is not a movie for the "expecting" to watch.
One of my top three movies of all time. When I was first getting into it in high school in the mid 80s, my dad was the only person patient enough to sit through the whole thing with me. |
