FC Cincinnati welcomes Stam with a photo of another bald Ajax trainer

Bald man, check. Ajax past, check. Download photo, make it free-standing and use it to welcome Jaap Stam. This is probably how it went with the social media team of FC Cincinnati. One problem: the bald man with an Ajax tie is not Stam.

In the welcome video, there is no doubt: the man who greets the viewer is Stam. "Hi, I'm Jaap Stam, I would like to introduce myself. I am the new head coach of FC Cincinnati", are the 47-year-old's first words on the American club's website. A more extensive round of proposals may not be a superfluous luxury on his first working day in the United States.

dortmund 2 leipzig 0 much better so far than west ham v wolves which turning out kinda boring even with crowd noises.

german fake crowd noise btw is fantastic! the dj in the aforementioned game did a great job tracking the action with all the right sound effects.

the english noise otoh is almost like listening to the waves break on the shore—soothing, and sleep-inducing.

Well it was a generally poor game that Everton could have won if it wasn't for that blasted post. Defensively they shut Liverpool down every time. There's a definite improvement in the squad since Ancelloti came in. Now to see how it goes once he starts getting players to his standard.
