that's awesome. I love those movies. Which do you prefer? I'm actually a bigger fan of the 2nd, which I think is pretty perfect. But of course they're two sides of the same coin -- and I think they're both great.

It depends on my mood. The 1st is definitly more action packed and BLOODY and the 2nd is a little slower paced, but you get more info on the story and I love the mix of so many different cultural elements and references. They all just fit together too instead of standing apart from one another. I love the battle with Daryl Hanna and Uma so fucking awesome!!

Kill Bill rules. I like to think of them as a singular film, as they were originally intended to be released. I wonder why they never released a special edition director's cut of both films combined. It's a very solid, and effective revenge epic. Who cares if Tarantino paid homage to a few of his favorite films throughout...WHO THE FUCK doesn't do that?

he had said he was gonna release the single film at some point. Never happened though. Oh well. But yeah, they are a singular story obviously. Love em. Big time. Guy.

halloween 3 - somebody had an image of it here as their sig.
fuck it was brilliant! exactly the kind of thing i wouldn't think of watching before with my snobbishness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0hSyfCMuPQ and what those people on imdb dont seem to be able to work out re. the timezones - THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE THAN ONE FACTORY, more than one "bad guy". |

That's the reason I don't own "Kill Bill" on DVD. If you go on Amazon they even have a listing for "Kill Bill"-The Whole Bloody Affair. Tarantino has been interviewed about it many times, he keeps saying it will happen. He said he wanted it to get a U.S. theatrical release and then a DVD release.
