This is no Eureka that's for sure. I found myself really wanting to enjoy this film, but overall it doesn't hit the mark it was aiming for. I didn't like the main character, Kenji, he's conflicted beyond belief and it just gets irritating. Is he trying to do the right thing, or is he a total douche? Along with having way too many characters, it gets really confusing. This movie marks another part of the director's, Aoyama Shinji's "Kitakyushu Saga" and is still beautifully directed and was enjoyable to watch at least once, I just found it really messy. I didn't even realize it contained Eureka characters till the very end! I will probably find this to be my least favourite of the saga. Still need to watch the first movie "Helpless". 7/10 Love Jim, love RZA, love Forest as a samurai. 9/10 Only the Japanese can get away with this kind of film, so ridiculous with gore x 100000000 + giant erect penises that shoot dangerous spikes = AWESOME! Eihi Shiina <3 10/10 I'm really taking a liking to Eihi Shiina. American is just to stupid to do horror like this, they rather ride the coat tales and do a horrible remake. 10/10 |

What needed to be said, has probably already been said. Epic. Timeless. Kurosawa. 11/10 |

Lots of amazing movies on this page, but am most glad to see NETWORK posted about -- an absolute favorite 10/10 that everyone needs to see. Some of the best acting ever in a movie.
I actually watched ENTER THE VOID a second time, and it was even better. My grade is now an 8/10. Also watched: THE FRONT - 8/10 scenes from a mall - 5/10 days of being wild - 8/10 happy together - 8/10 |

it's a shame how terrible the marketing was for this movie. i liked it a lot even though certain parts were pretty cheesy. |

@ pimples
You should just compare the runtime of your VHS tape to the IMDB page. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117571/ Runtime: 111 min Hope that helps! |

Absoolutely. Didn't it bomb? I seem to remember the ads making it seem like SUPERBAD 2 or something, but the movie wasn't funny at all -- I mean, it wasn't really a comedy. but it was an entertaining film. I liked it. I am going to watch ENTER THE VOID a 3rd time. Completely addicted to it now. I watched I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER. It sucked. |
