I eat a lot of porkchops and protein bars and it makes me gassy as hell. For what it's worth I'm at the gym at least 3 times a week for low-ish end weightlifting and workout, other times just cardio. However, I get the sense I don't use up enough of that protein intake. *toot*

It's just pasta...but made out of black beans. So it's black spaghetti. We just stir fried it with some chicken and red/yellow peppers. It's pretty good. My girlfriend is on a health kick so she's trying out different things to cut carbs n stuff.

When she told me about them, I got a little excited. There's this Korean dish with noodles and black bean SAUCE. It's made with black bean paste and it's so damn delicious. But...no it was the noodles....><

Yo, seriously though...the black bean noodles are good n all....but if you have never tried Jajangmyeon(noodles and black bean sauce)....make that shit or seek it out somewhere, it's to die for.... I wish I lived near more Korean food spots. I used to live near the Korean part of Chicago and I kind of miss it......a lot. Their spicy beef stew...mmmmmmmmmmm.

chEEEEEEEEEEFFF!!!
i don't know if you read this anymore but tonite i just made a caramelized red onion for a pizza (or pissaladière, whatever it's called--it was a fathead dough) AND IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING i know the recipe calls for white or yellow onion, i forget which kind, but like a proper sudaca i had none so i reduced a whole red onion in irish butter, with a little thyme IT HAS A HINT OF OLIVE IN THE FLAVOR!! i don't know if it's the reduced purple pigments or the fact that i burned the bottom a leeeeeeeetle bit and so it added some bitterness, but i swear it tastes like motherfucking black olives a bit glorious red onion--she and i shall never part well. what have you been up to mein freund? (ha ha--sorry to maim your language--) but yeah. like severian to his movies, i to my cookin' caramelize one and see. -- the other half of the thing i covered in a mash of: house-grown tomatoes (some plants are blooming in february!), fish sauce, erythritol (i'm into keto these days), red pepper flakes, oregano, basil, yeast flakes (i had no parmesan at hand) ha ha ha ha ha i shall enjoy myself even in teh alpacalypse |

A bunch of bananas I bought two weeks ago still haven't turned. I've left them in what little sunlight hits the house, but other than that I'm not sure what to do. Still green. Any advice?

like maybe on top of the fridge or something temps help ripening and paper bag traps the ethylene gas which is the plant hormone that causes ripening in this kind of fruit (in others, it stops it) |
