I just bought ES: Morrowind (it was dirt cheap and I can't afford oblivion). God damnit I'm hooked on it despite the numerous stupidities in the game.

Grandmaster Flash and Public Enemy have been hired to create original tracks for Atari's new videogame, Driver: Parallel Lines. Serving as the sequel to Driver, the videogame is set in two different eras - 1978 and the present - and will feature music that represents each time period. "The right in-game music can transform a gaming experience from great to unforgettable and the tracks we have picked for Driver: Parallel Lines will literally keep players in the cars just to hear what the next tune is" said Atari Europe's marketing director Cyril Voiron. In addition to new material by PE and Flash, Atari has licensed music by The Roots, David Bowie, WAR, Parliamnet Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Average White Band, and more. |

I played one of the Driver games, don't remember which. It's not so much that the game sucked, as it is I sucked at the game. I played at a friend's house for about 2 minutes and decided it wasn't worth it.

I watched a friend play through it. It looks scary, but it's really hard to judge without playing. Definitely looks fun, though.
I watched someone play Fatal Frame and couldn't understand why he was so scared. Then I played it and it was the scariest experience of my life. That game is terrifying. I want to play it again... |

I picked up re4 as soon as i got my gamecube, being the avid re fan that i am, and I loved it too death. Then I got really pissed and hated it. But now I just like it a lot. If you're a fan of the series you'll know what I mean.
Gameplay=un-fucking-believably fun Story, Characters, Dialogue=utter shit And as for fatal frame, I've played the first one and i have to say that if you're just looking for chills and thrills you can do no better. You can really see how modern asian horror cinema influenced the franchise. I really want to pick up the other ones; I've read that crimson butterfly surpasses the first and that the tormented is just damn good.

Good call on bringing this thread back up.
I've been playing a lot of this and working on my franchise......getting antsy for football season. I miss these games being 20 bucks.

Yea Morrowind is fucking intense. I played three different characters and did practically every mission possible... except for house hlaalu. they're just annoying. I"m playing Oblivion now and it's so intimidating.
I used to hate first person RPGs until they put out Morrowind. I love how you can just free roam all over the place and tomb raid and all that other fancy shit like enchanting.. fun stuff. I'm hoping Rockstar puts out a new GTA soon. San Andreas was good, but a new one wouldn't hurt.

That ping pong game looks pretty cool.....I got hooked on Virtua Tennis when I was a freshmen in college living in the dorms. We'd just take bong rips in my bathroom, drink, and play video games like that and Soul Caliber in between classes.....college was pretty great considering how bad it sucked. That tennis game actually got me in to tennis and now I think it's pretty awesome.
