I haven't heard that one yet. I'll have to check it out. Blonde On Blonde would be #2

Desire doesn't have the personal mystery lyrics we've come to love, but it has some great story telling and the songs are great.
Deffinitley worth picking up. And yeah I don't get why people rate highway sixty one above Bringing it all back and Blonde on Blonde. I mean its great, but its not leaps and bounds above those two like some would have youb elieve.

Early as in acoustic?
Or early as in first three electric albums?

I might follow up Times...with John Wesley Harding, if I feel like another Dylan

John Wesley Harding is great if you want Mellow Dylan.
Its a great album in any case. Under rated also.

Mellow Dylan is the Dylan I'm the mood for.

Then that or Blood on the Tracks (but you should already own that) are what you want.

Blood on the Tracks is for another night, John Wesley is the way for more Dylan today.

No, I need to actually buy the proper albums, but I have a lot of his stuff as AAC. I never really listened to Dylan much until about 6 months ago.

Yeah he's easy to get heavily into, he has so many albums and phases that he donesn't really get redundant, at least to me

If you're asking me....actually stuff up to and thru Nashville Skyline. I wasn't a big fan of the 70s Rolling Thunder Review period. So yeah, early acoustic and electric for me.

but no one can argue that that is his best period. I love the Rolling Thunder stuff also, haha that was his shouting phase (he tends to go through vocal phases).
