Also, while I'm not 100% convinced until I see a few games, with Ibaka out it looks like Spurs will win the West.. which only sets them up for another embarrassing loss in the Finals.
Heat in 6.

Sighs. I don't give a fuck what the record or stats show, in no fucking universe is Tony Parker/Tim Duncan/Manu Ginobili in ANY FUCKING REMOTE WAY better, more significant, or more accomplished than Kareem Abdul Jabar, Michael "Coop" Cooper, and the living legend "Magic" Johnson. FUCK THAT SHIT YO. Now knowing this I ESPECIALLY hope the THREE-TIME, BACK-TO-BACK champion Miami Heat BEAT THE SHIT out of Spurs in the Finals and achieve something that even Kareem never did, Four consecutive Finals appearances and possibly a Three-Pete so Pat Riley can finally get one since he owns the name.
Oh yeah, not only will Tim Duncan NEVERY fucking TOUCH Kareem in any stat or skill, the Spurs will NEVER have what the Lakers and even the Heat have, even with four rings San Antonio has never went BACK-TO-BACK.. Shit, this will be their first time having consecutive appearances, and even if they fucking win it all, they still won't have that accomplishment that ONLY The Lakers, the Celtics, the ROCKETS , the Heat, and the Pistons have.

Spurs favored?
America just needs to pause, take a long breath, and say out loud to themselves, "Boris Diaw, Tiago Splitter, Danny Green, Kwahil Leonard." Those are the players who played almost 70% of the Spurs starting minutes this past season! Parker, Duncan, and Ginobili played less than 40% of the total minutes this season. Then pause, take a breath, and say out loud to themselves," Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and Ray Allen." Those dudes played almost 70% of the Heat's minutes this season. Now, who the fuck honestly sounds like a championship rotation here???

I stand corrected, Danny Green proved me wrong with some crow and humble pie, Heat win Game 2 this never happened, Heat lose Game 2 and they don't deserve the trophy. Lets wait and see before we crown either team just yet. Respect to the Spurs, they destroyed the Heat in the final 2 minutes. The question is if Lebron is healthy will they pull that off again 3 times?

No joke though, cramps are fucking painful. I had them during practice p[laying football as a youth, and had them once when I was bar-backing a 6 hour shift. the pain is intense and the thought of doing any exertion after is impossible.

America sure is lucky Lebron is such a sincerely nice guy, could y'all imagine how ballistic a player like Jordan or Kareem would have went if the entire country made an issue of his body (after proving all the haters wrong by winning 2 championships, 4 consecutive appearances) the national punchline? People casually forget that Lebron had 25 6 5 line and was clearly the best defender on the floor for either team when he went down. Yeah, its sucks for him, and yeah, we should all be able to have good humor about this, BUT considering how much unnecessary vitriol and scathing criticism Lebron has already received, its part of a "lets shit on Lebron some more" narrative. The real question is what does Lebron finally have to do for America to leave his ass alone? Would a third consecutive Championship finally put all this shit to rest? Probably not. Hate on folks

What happens if San Antonio chokes like the Thunder did in 2012 or like they did last year? Will it all still be that funny

Can you imagine how rare it is for Lebron to enjoy ANYTHING by himself? Also glad to see he wasn't letting that #Lebroning shit get to him. Game 3 will be insane, but the weirdest or perhaps most historic aspect of these playoffs is that history/stats mean almost nothing! In their 3 Championships Heat have overcome almost every historical obstacle which if only once would be a statistical outlier but that they've done it consistently these past 4 years, indeed in the entire Dwyane Wade era is remarkable. Jordan never lost, Shaq destroyed teams for breakfast, Spurs are a remarkable season team similar to the NFL Patriots, and these Heat will be known as the most underdog Dynasty team ever! Against ALL odds they've overcome Game 7s, Series deficits on the road, significant playoff injuries to key players several times now, are a record 6-0 in Game 2s when losing Game 1s, won the Finals as the road team winning Games 2,3,4,5 (only the Pistons and Heat since 1985 have swept their middle home games as the road team, Heat have done it TWICE!)....
Twenty years from now when folks who didn't see it look at the stats and analyze the Heat they will see them as a remarkable underdog, which is very interesting considering they have the best player in the game on their team. If anything, I think it demonstrates just how more competitive the NBA is today. All kinds of folks are nostalgic for that "tough guy" basketball, but today's game is hyperathletic compared to the 80s/90s.. Its 100% 5-on-5 on every possession which is much more tiring. Its multiple pick and rolls on a single possession to wear out defenses and create openings. Its constant screening, driving, and cutting so nobody is ever standing around waiting for their turn. And instead of there being 4 or 5 really good teams like in the 1980s, or 7 or 8 really good teams like in the 1990s, there are about 15 good teams which means the season is much more competitive and challenging than it used to be.. Heat in 6 to seal their legacy.

This dude is confident and showing everybody he ain't even tripping. I love it.

Testing your knowledge is for reading the stat sheets AFTER the game and/or match. Fantasy leagues are about making predictions, but getting too concrete about them. Making stat based predictions, and at least for me it ruins the joy of discovery that is tournament sports. Also, I don't like Fantasy sports because is takes away the team aspect of wins, and if the stats don't come through it can take away the win in your fantasy. Hence why its called fantasy. I prefer to just watch and enjoy. Speaking of which, HUGE fucking Game 3 tonight..

I was in San Antonio Sunday visiting relatives and the whole town was so depressed after that game! SA should have won easily.
