Across The Universe - I'm not a fan of musicals so this didn't work for me.
I dig the reworkings of the Beatles songs, though.
Not enough Joe Cocker and too much Bono. Eddie Izzard was cool enough.

i couldnt stand the reworking of beatles songs in across the universe, they all sounded like american idol covers. and the eddie izzard scence was the worst

it was excellent
great gypsy atmosphere.
i think that ive decided that my dream is to travel the world and record different tribes and gypsies and such...

got there will be blood dvd yesterday, watched it again last night, dday lewis's performance blows me away more with every viweing.

i also got lynch's wild at heart and jarmusch's down by law and dead man, three of my favorite films.
