Haha. I dunno. He keeps showing flashes of form then seems to lose it. Another 'forward' who really isn't, maybe. Oh and a 4 match ban for England's richest racist (after Prince Phillip). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...match-ban.html |

Spurs at Man U tomorrow, anyone think we might get our first league win over there since I was 4 years old?

Man U look very beatable. I wouldn't bet on a Spurs win, but I wouldn't bet against one either.

oh shit man. the 2d half was especially good. the first one-- okay, surprising, but mostly because of a terrible defense. the second half however was lots of fun. this is the first time i get to watch spurs so it was a surprise-- i see you got 2 gringos now. along similar lines, see if you can catch the barcelona-sevilla from yesterday. holy shit. there was a bit of thievery in that whole scheme but i won't give it away with spoilers if you can see it. |

Yeah, Spurs had to hang on in the second half but a well deserved victory. Especially glad Dempsey scored. He may have dented his reputation a bit with the whole 'strike' thing at Fulham but he's still one of my favourite players. And Freidel's in amazing form right now.
I'll try and find some way of watching the Barca game. |

fucking benfica, that game ended up a small massacre.
puyol seems to have a broken arm (he fell), dani alves might have a broken face (from getting an elbow to it), busquests was expelled for no good reason. then fouls galore. it was shit i tell you. |

I was at work so didn't see any of tonight's games. I have heard that the Barca-Benfica game was a bit brutal, though. I'm definitely glad Barca won but I have to say that while I really like Busquets a lot, he gets away with murder enough to probably deserve the occasional soft red card. Big blow about Puyol and Alves, though.
Looks like Chelsea annihilated Nordsjaelland (whoever they are). PS. I don't expect anyone saw West Ham against QPR last night. Absolutely great game. |

ah holy mother of shit that game was was was was aaaaaaghhhhhhhq!@#!@#!%!! awesome but FUUUUCK, fuck fuck, dortmund was so close!
i think the penalty was a bullshit call but balotelli's execution was amazing. he's fucking great. and the way he didn't let weimeraner (or whatever is his name, hard to recall all those letters) get into his head: priceless. joe hart, jeezus, what a savior, and LEWANDOWSKI, YOU FUCK, WHY CANT YOU SHOOT STRAIGHT? eh, i LOVED that game, pissed at the final result, yeah, cuz dortmund shoulda/couda/woulda won (boohooo), but hey, games are won with goals and not "deserves". --- ps lucky for me i missed the bayern game yesterday because they got their shit kicked and would have suffered. i still have to watch it as 'homework' but mang. |

Yeah, great game! Dortmund really should've won but, as you say, Hart was really world class last night. Man City's saviour for sure. And yeah, Balotelli's penalty was pure class (although arguable in terms of whether it should've been awarded in the first place, and Dortmund should've been two or three goals up by that point anyway.
Mancini has to take the blame for City's leaky defence: tampering with the Kompany-Lescot pairing that was so strong last year. They'll struggle to qualify for the next phase of the CL and if they don't I can't see Mancini being there next season - and if they don't improve in the Prem they'll probably have to win the CL outright for him to stay in charge. I like Mancini but I'm not convinced he's good enough to bring the level of success the City owners now expect. |
