Well? I just want to know what you think of the other? Since this board the majority is either British or American.

I like English people, of course I don't really know any, but they seem like a good group of people.

I thought everyone was aware of the unsophisticated American and the stuck up Brit stereotypes.

My experiences of Americans, both at home and in the US, is generally good. I find them to be friendly and honest. They can take what you say a bit too literally sometimes, leading to the odd misunderstanding but, by and large, I like 'em. And they generally have excellent teeth.
Still don't understand how to make a decent cup of tea, mind. And they quite simply don't understand bacon at all. |

i met a wonderful american man on the top of a hill in 2005 whilst skiing in vermont. I fell over and he came over and helped me up, he was all like "aw, are you okay, that looked like a bad fall, here you go, isn't it a lovely day, i love skiing don't you"
It was surreal. My general experience with americans has be very very positive, thats one of the reasons i am planning to move there in 2010. |

My British cousins are decent chaps even if one is highly phobic and the other is borderling autistic. Wouldn't think they represent the average Brit, though.

And of course there's the little matter of baseball, which we call rounders and stop playing by the age of about 10.
