Back in the 80's I had no less then "The Breakfast Club", "Ferris Buller's Day Off" and "Planes Trains and Automobiles" on videocassete, and watched them countless number of times.

Man, that sucks, this guy directed two of my favorite movies of the 80's (Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Breakfast Club) and other very good movies and he wrote the Home Alone movies... RIP, man.

aside from uncle buck, i cant watch any of his movies. they're all terribly dated cheesy 80's teen flicks.

although i did love home alone as a kid (but what kid didn't?)
