Someone explain all this crap to me.

I really don't know anything other than search and click. But what about adding users and my own account info and stuff like that?

There's a menu at the right side so you can browse people's music and add people to see their music, as well as chat with them. You should read the help menu

You can opt to leave your files open to anyone browsing, or restrict it to people on your friend's list.

Also (and I don't entirely get this) it appears that with the new version, you can do some file return thing, which randomly attempts to upload your music to users downloading from you. I don't know how I feel about tune-raping other people - I figure if they want it, they'll search for it.
