They stole the name of my friend's group who I like much, much better!
Unless of course you were writing about him and not the "indie rock" band that took the name much more recently, but somehow I doubt that. Not intended as a dis on you, just seems way more likely. |

I don't get the question, but i think they have a couple decent songs and a slight YYYs wannabe thing going on mitigated by a slightly different approach on occasions. That said, after a few listens they get quite boring. Nice name, btw, dead-air tell your friends to sue them, now I'll listen to that myspace link.

i was going to start a band called "jeremy and the noisettes" a few years back, but they beat me to it...and they sound nothing like a noisette should.

Saw them open for TVOTR back in April and they were pretty boring, nothing new at all. TVOTR were incredible of course.

I suspect that the original Noisettes can keep his name, as they have flash-in-the-pan written all over them, and he'll probably be around a lot longer if never on that scale. He's been using the name since the '90s when he lived in Athens GA and gigging and releasing records under it, but I think he's basically too nice a guy to sue over something like that. |
