Anyone remember Daria?

Does anyone remember the MTV series Daria? How good was that show? Someone sent me a link to a Daria fansite, remembering how much I used to love that show when it was on, I downloaded all 5 seasons and its currently, without a doubt my favourite TV show ever.

Also the choice of music on the show was incredible, they used to play so much Sonic Youth!

Umm I know they used 'Dirty Boots', 'The diamond sea' and Thurston's 'Ono Soul'

they are all great, i used to love watching it on MTV, they NEVER show it anymore though!

Daria was the best after that MTV went to crap with stupid shows. That was the last great MTV show. It is my favorite show.

Hmm, "Liquid Television" was better, and with out "Liquid Television" there would be no "Bevis and Butthead" or "Daria", see the "Liquid Television" showed the short "Frog Baseball" featuring the then un-named Bevis and Butthead, and on "Bevis and Butthead" they introduced Daria. It also was the first to show the really trippy "Aeon Flux" animation.

Liquid Television: ingenious.

Daria isn't on MTV anymore because MTV sucks now. No more 120 Minutes, Daria, etc, though they do still show Beavis and Butthead on MTV2.

on this note - if anyone else has the Daria: Crushed video no they know what the song that is played over the end credits is???, its really great and i have no idea what it is, the lyrics are impossible to figure out too.

The last good show MTV ever had. I remember loving Jake and the teacher with the big eye. Those were the two best characters.
