I've never thought about the Graduate as being a College Movie. It seems independent of the genre to me. But I guess it is.

I guess you're right. It's not like any of the other movies in the genre. The only thing which is very "college" about the movie is well, the main character being a college student. A graduate. Meh. I take it back.
