Well, Yousendit isn't really a file sharing program, is it? You can store stuff on a server with it.
What's your problem with soulseek. I haven't been online for a few weeks now, but it always has worked fine. |

i don't think there's anything that beats soulseek when it comes to finding obscure stuff...
apart from soulseek, maybe there are some dc++ hubs that have lots of obscure stuff, but i never liked using that. |

Soulseek kicks ass. You sure you don't have your settings goofed up? Although, I've had trouble finding certain things on there in the past too.

People have been getting caught using these softwares here and other countries. Usually the officials mention dc++ and emule etc. but not slsk. Anyway, I try not to dl or share tons of stuff and I've seen lots of YSI threads around the net, which are also a good way to check out new things.

I use limewire pro and soulseek; they work perfectly together. You can find everything

you mean you've got viruses and spyware and haven't got rid of them or you've got rid of them and now soulseek doesn't work?

soulseek came first then the spyware etc. had to get some guy to come look at the damn computer, he tracked it to people putting things on the hard drive via soul seek and that was that. £45 just to get the thing operating again. although the inner workings of a pc and half the stuff he mentioned are lost on me.
i am greedy and broke enough to start using it again though now given the huge list of things i really want. |

I don't use p2p's anymore and I never found very 'obscure' stuff.

i'd stick with slsk but just employ better virus protection, everyone gets a virus at some point

the only thing better than soulseek is having 20 record stores with vast supplies of music, obscure or otherwise, near you and being a millionaire
soulseek is rad, it's basic internet navigation 101 to have good virus protection. try to monitor your slsk activity a bit more to prevent surprises. also, run your antivirus system checkup regularly to detect viruses the earliest they appear |

I never could get Soulseek to work for me very well. I would try to download something (anything) and it would never downloading. It'd just say 'qued' or something. I hardly got any of them to work.
I use limewire

It depends, were the things kind of a light gray? Only the black ones are the ones you can download immediatly, the other ones you have to wait your turn. |

Yeah they were gray. I hardly got any black ones. Practically all of them were gray. That sucks if you have to wait.
