hey, I created a fantasy world cup group for anyone from the board who's interested.

it's at http://en.fifaworldcup.fantasysports.yahoo.com/
I can't figure out how to add people to it without doing it manually by adding each person by their yahoo id (can be set up and registered in 5 minutes) so if you wanna play post your yahoo id here and i'll add you

ahh right, the group number is 17686
and the group password is ratherripped

I'll have to get a 'yahoo id'. But it's impossible to do, as every single possible combination of letters and numbers appears to have been taken.

On a related note, the US is up 1-0 on Latvia thanks to a great header from McBride. Second half is about to start....

I know. Just satirizing my country's lack of interest in the world. Maybe it's just here, but I only hear about the Lakers and Yankees until the Olympics. Sad. I don't watch soccer, but only because I don't watch much sports at all.

There is actually a commercial they are playing here that plays this song to highlights of the national team.

EDIT: The game they describe was quite the occasion.
