Neon Bible is fantastic. One of The Arcade fire's best if not the best.

It's a tough call up against Funeral but it's really well recorded, sounds fantastic.

Nor should you! I'm seeing them this year too, bro! WOO! SOOO STOKED! My copy (deluxe edition!) hasn;'t come in the mail yet, but No Cars GO is one of my favourite Arcade Fire songs... I hear the new version is EVEN BETTER! I am super-psyched to see what they've done with it... Did anyonje leave a message on that Neon Bible hotline? I did... a crappy one, but I still did!

my god an arcade fire thread with no "they are so shit because im too cool to lioke em now that they are popular" posts!!!!
arcade fire are a fantastic band, funeral was a blindingly grea debut and neon bible kicks its ass into touch. i applaud arcade fire and all their works even if regine cant sing to save her life!!! by the way, there is an irish net animation team called eyebrowy who take the piss out of irish fans and musicians and celebrities etc. and they hve a cool range of "slogan" teeshirts... im getting these ones!!! check their page, they are funny but it helps if you know irish bands like the frames, damien dempsey, turn and so forth........... http://www.eyebrowy.com/ |

They were on Austin City Limits. I watched through it. Can't decide if I like them or not.
I think if they were a bit funkier sounding and had Jon King singing for them I'd think that they were the best thing since sliced bread. |
