I have quite a few Christmas albums in my collection.
My faves are easily Santa's Got a Brand New Bag by James Brown how can you resist "Santa Claus Go Straight to the Ghetto"? Hipster's Holiday - which features stuff by Jazz and R&B greats like Louis Armstrong, Eartha Kitt, and Miles Davis " 'Zat You Santa Claus" and the original "Santa Baby" are really fun tracks Finally, I don't care how sappy this album is, I have to listen to it in the holiday season Charlie Brown Christmas 'nuff said. Do you have any holiday musical recommendations or does all Christmas music suck?

Yeah. There was some good stuff mentioned in there. The Phil Spektor Christmas album was nice.

All year round? That would take alot of the joy out of it. It'd be like having Christmas lights on your house all year round.

A girl I worked with at the photo place listened to Christmas music way before Christmas while we were working and it was just too weird.
I don't know any Christmas albums, let alone any good ones.

You know, I like Christmas music. Most people hate it, but it reminds me of being a kid and feeling REALLY excited about the holidays.
Of course, there are limits and restrictions in my eye. |

My favorite Christmas song is by far is the Treacherous Three single Xmas Rap. After that Spinal Tap "Christmas with the Devil". In general I like the songs that take the holiday down a bit.

...how can you argue with funk bass and sultry soul lyrics like "santa's got a brand new bag.... makes me feel like i wanna be a bad girl." and "all i want to do is shag for christmas....i'm jingling all the way?"
