Did any of guys ever have this toy? I used to fucking love making those, even after it got tedious. I wonder if they still sell these kits?
You can make them online here: http://www.math.dartmouth.edu/~dlittle/java/SpiroGraph/ |

Yeah I had one. Mine always came out shitty so I would usually just say fuck it and play Nintendo or something.

You can still get them. Last year, whilst in the world's dullest job, I entirely mastered the art of doing spirographs free-hand. I truly own.

I preferred Lite-Brite. They gave you pre-drawn pitchers in the box, and you got to look at pretty lights. I was a challenged child.

I had a Spiropgraph when I was little. I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do with it, though. :[

I had both Lite Brite and Spirograph. The spirograph thing would come out of the notches a lot and fuck up the design, but it may have been the start of my lifelong obsession with Op Art.

Spirograph was great. Free hand spirographs are great as well....my freehand ones are all over the place though but that's sort of the point. The type of pen you have makes all the difference with spirograph I think....a fine nib is best, biros are crap dare I say.

Bart: "Yo, Dr. S, have you seen Milhouse today?"
Dr. Spirograph: "No." Bart: "Okay, thanks." Dr. Spirograph: "Wait! Did you know that there's a direct correlation between the decline of spirograph and the rise in gang activity? Think about it." I should note, however, that the clown on the front of the box gives me nightmares to this day. And I used to have fits of rage when the dots on the paper didn't line up with those on the light screen, and the beauty of your electric art was compromised. Bred feelings of inadequacy that lasted for years.

lite-brites -- i remember those. my mom got me one for xmas back when i believed in santa -- she asked me if i wanted one (presumably having already bought one) and she convinced me to send a letter to santa asking for one, even though i had never heard of the things before. was glad i got one though -- the thing was incredible.
