When it rains really heavy, water drains into my basement room, soaking part of my carpet and leaks in the window in the bathroom, ending up all over the floor. Then I have to pull the carpet back and fan it for 2-3 days until it's dry.
It happened again friday, and I was pretty pissed, since my landlord claimed to have taken care of this problem last year when it happened three times. He's not that bad of a guy, but it's obvious that his other business is more of a priority since he takes weeks to do simple tasks. I left him a message friday night and let him know how unhappy I was. He came over today, checked it out, and listened to me complain a little. Then he pulled out his wallet and handed me $100 and apologized then said he'd take care of it this week. It made me feel a little better, but it's still a stinky, humid, moldy mess. Since the money was very unexpected, I decided I'm going to spend it on something cool, not bills or any boring crap like that. |

Sweet. I love stuff like that.
I just went to Blockbuster to rent a couple movies and get some candy, and the total came out to $10 something. Then the guy scanned some card on the counter and it dropped down to $7 something. I didn't even have to break a twenty. Score. |

That Digiverb is cool, an acquaintence had one and the reverse reverb was cool, but I can do reverse on my DD-20.
I'm thinking of a few possible things: expression pedal for my Moogerfooger Ring Mod mini humbucker for the neck position in my Fender Mustang (got one in the bridge and it sounds great) another guitar pedal (pretty unnecessary at this point) a bike |

Buy something you'll remember, like a shirt or an album, not something you'll eat.

I agree. I once found $40 on the ground at Tim Hortons and spent it all on weed and food. It was nice but I regretted it later haha. Hahaha A cake was one of the things I though

yep, for example,
I'd rather save my money and buy something big, like audio equipment or albums, than just spend bits of money on things like food. |

Tim Hortons! God it has been forever since I have been in Canada or close enough to see a Tim Hortons! They have them in Buffalo but not in the Burgh. It is owned by Wendy's right? Chout, if you look around you can get some really good deals on expression pedals. You could probably get a mini-bucker and an expression pedal. |

I remember Tim Hortons when I've been to Canada a few times, but do they have them in the US? I think I had some peach drink there. We have orange drink in the states. I prefer peach dammit.
Canadians have some good candy bars that the us doesn't have. I love the Eatmore bars. I brought a bunch home when I visited Toronto and Vancouver. M&M's are called Smarties there, but what are smarties called in Canada? |

your lucky about him giving you money. every landlord i have ever had has been a complete cunt. late giving back bonds/deposits and taking money out of them for 'damages' of which there were none, ever.
it seems to be a thing for them. are you really mean and untrustworthy, willing to rob people with very little income blind and fuck em over? become a landlord. |
