Sure thing. I just ordered Tender buttons on amazon a few days ago. I've heard some tracks of it and I love it.

It's my favorite of theirs, so far. Then there' s 'Work Non Work' , which is a compilation of the early singles, and 'Ha Ha Sound' which is my second favourite of theirs, if you count albums proper.Their first one, 'The Noise Made By People', is good but not their best.

Simultaneously self-deprecating and confident, whim-sical and incredibly incisive, gently spoken and utterly precise in what she says, serious and very funny, speaking to Trish Keenan is an experience of apparent opposites that actually go together beautifully — an experience that echoes her music. Ever experimenting and pushing the boundaries, Broadcast elude all attempts to categorise or even to describe their innovative blend of electronica, library music, psychedelia, nursery rhyme, movie sound effects and a female vocal that is at once pure and strong, and evocative of childlike naiveté. Their new record, The Future Crayon, a collection of their B-sides and other rare tracks, draws attention to just how multi-faceted and exciting this band is and has been for ten years. Clare Byrne managed to grab Trish for a chat just before the band went on tour for the first time this year.

New Broadcast EP announced
Broadcast have announced details of their new EP which is due out around October time on Warp Records. They have collaborated with The Focus Group from Ghost Box records. This is quite exciting news. They will be touring in the United States in October and November along with Atlas Sound who also have a new album out. This sounds quite exciting, I hope they both tour in the UK together when the Broadcast album comes out. For more info and tour dates, head over to theWarp Records website. http://buildanddestroy.com/blog/?p=1471 |

New ep is fucking fantastic! I watched the video they made for one of the songs and it's unbelievably brilliant. Trust my judgement, for once, Broadcast are one of the most underrated British bands ever.
