my legs and feet are so sunburned I can't put on shoes.

surely my injury warrants this unfashionable attire, but I feel like people in this town are staring at me.

I spent the whole day on a south Texas beach and figured that staying in the shade would be sufficient (there were man-hungry creatures in the water).

somewhere between 2pm and 4 beers, the sun conspired against my shaded feet.
