Here is some of the fucking CRAZY shit I used to watch on Sesame Street as a kid. Trust me this is worth a look, especially if you're seeing it for the first time in 20 years like I did, does a number on your brain. Hrmm, anyways, I think some of these things had a great influence on the person I am now. I watched them at a VERY young age, like probably 3 or 4.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=j2jo_Tlw18g ( this one's quiet, turn your volume up to hear it, it's nothing without the music ) yes that was really on sesame street. http://youtube.com/watch?v=iE5XnUSBv...street%20clown So was this http://youtube.com/watch?v=zLNWfPFtE...ame%20stree t And this So freaking insane for a kids show right? I guess creators had more creative control over their shows back then. here are two more http://youtube.com/watch?v=wEorb2Sl5...ame%20stre et This one has fucking AWESOME music http://youtube.com/watch?v=j-egPia2J...rch=123%20ball |

Seasme Street should take "100%" and turn it into a math song, I remember seeing the Seasme Street "Letter B" vingette? Skit? Many moons ago, and I rember R.E.M. singing "Shiny, Happy, Monsters" quite a while back.

Eh, maybe it's just me, but I thought that stuff was extremely unusual and avant garde for a kid's television show, which is what made it so awesome.
Even the pinball one to me has " weird " written all over it, especially with the music. To me lots of the animated and live action stuff from the 70's was just " weird " anyways you're welcome. Interesting stuff huh |

Here's another 70's clip. It's not unusual at all though, it's more cutesy kids stuff

I do get what you mean... It's obviously much smarter than any of the kid's shows around now, and it has this charming vibe to it. I think the last clip you showed was quite avant-garde too...
