I was going to post this in non-sounds, but it's not about music, it's about people.
who do you miss the most? I miss Joe Strummer. I miss him like crazy, and I really wish that he wasn't on my list. I want him to be alive and still making music. I'd be ok with posting Joey Ramone, but the loss of Joe Strummer still makes me want to cry. this thread brought to you by the Sid & Nancy Sountrack in conjunction with the Mescaleros. |

I'm not entirely sure if "miss" is the right word, but it sometimes makes me a little sad knowing that I'll never be able to see these two play live again.

Uh.. Timmy Taylor from Brainiac...
[he's the sexy one] Also, Captain Beefheart ain't dead, but he has been in ... I dunno if you'd say "hiding", but he hasn't been around much for 27 or so years. So, I miss him.. supposedly, he's really sick or something |

*snort* wow, we agree!! ok not completely but yea. -- i thout flotzi was gonna get all patty smith tho Elegie I just don't know what to do tonight, My head is aching as I drink and breathe Memory falls like cream in my bones, moving on my own. There must be something I can dream tonight, The air is filled with the moves of you, All the fire is frozen yet still I have the will, ooh, ah. Trumpets, violins, I hear them in the distance And my skin emits a ray, but I think it's sad, it's much too bad That our friends can't be with us today. |

no, yr spelling is a lot better than mine. it would be near suicidal to attack anyone from that front. next topic: which dead rockstar would you like to see made into a zombie? I vote Wayne Coyne. |

If Nik Fiend died and came back as a zombie, would anyone be the wiser?

Easy to be ironic and cynical about these things, but I'd still go for John Lennon. I'm guessing he would've become no better than all the other 'earnest' rock star types of his generation and would quite likely have turned into some kind of Sting-like atrocity. But even so, it would've been nice to have found out one way or the other.
