maybe you're just the wrong kind of white people. as mentioned here:

"It is also imperative to understand that faux vintage shirts (”Getting Lucky in Kentucky”) are completely unacceptable. They are beloved by the wrong kind of white people, and must be avoided at all costs."

"Many people and cultures view t-shirts as a simple piece of apparel that can be acquired cheaply and worn in casual situations. For white people, it’s never that easy. The t-shirt is one of the most complex and expressive items in their entire wardrobe."

yeah probably
i have so many t-shirts it's not even funny. one day i'll try and count them all for you.

atsonicpark 08.01.2008 03:52 PM

At one point I had around 200 shirts.

Gave a bunch to charity though. One of them was a Ministry shirt!

I wish I had at some point I had a Butthole Surfers shirt so one of those charity kids could have re-enacted that scene in the Simpsons with Rod and Todd...

davenotdead 08.01.2008 03:59 PM

ok going through the list i really can't relate, except #'s 72 and 93, study abroad and music piracy... they've got me there

I just got back from the Amoeba records and I'm wearing a blank white t-shirt. I'm sure is was breaking some modern fashion rule or something. If only the pit stains were a bit more obvious.

I don't think it means that white people like Juno the movie, I think it meant they like the hot Canadian chick who played Juno. Right? ... oh.
