The "toe-sex" scene in "The New York Ripper" - a moment so wrong it just has to be fattening.
|
the scene where billy walks into the strip club at the end of bufallo 66.
also liked a lot of la haine but especially the a few scenes where the camera appears to float on its own and goes over the buildings showing the whole area. amazing film. |

oh and this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy3Fn...related&search= i would have prefered the marx brothrs contract scene from night at the opera but couldnt find it, so this will have to do and basically anythinmg by them is classic cinema. i also love the scene of dassin's Raffifi where there is a half hour of complete silence while the break into thwe store. brilliant! |
I saw FITZCARRALDO by herzog the other day, and it's WOw. it took 3 years shooting that movie, I have bought a dvd for 9 euros where ther's the movie and , as extra, ALL the movie commented by herzog and a producer, where he says absurde things that happened during the movie.
-the first scene : fitzcarraldo (Klaus Kinski) and Molly (Claudia Cardinale) at the opera http://youtube.com/watch?v=iVQ8o7G6mQA the playback-singer is played by a transvestite. -the scene when the Indios are plying drums and Fitzcarraldo switches the Phonograph on with Caruso and the 2 music combine. -the waterrapids scene: that scene was shot twice: one with the steamboat empty, the other with people inside! crazy herzog! here in the trailer you have an "aperitf" of all the mest scenes. http://youtube.com/watch?v=F53yUsgVuL0 by the way, herzog at the beginning instead of Kinski (his best enemy, he confesses) chose Jason Roberts and Mick jagger... then Roberts got sick and Jagger couldnt work for the movie for so long time, so Kinski was chosen. her you can see mick jagger and Jason Roberts. It would have been a completely different movie (maybe worse and narcisistic, with jagger, I mean), But KInski is great, as always. http://youtube.com/watch?v=gTgDXu_Nhys Herzog made some of the best curated scenes ever. |

there are too many although the one that came most immediately to mind is the scene at the end of the seventh's seal where death is leading them by the hand over the mountain.

ha ha i just saw that fight scene-- it was one of those "it's so bad it's good" things-- terrible, but terrible acting. and i don't know anyone who could take such a pounding on the nuts, unless maybe they are on crack. but good laughs!

the ending scene of Takashi Miike's Dead or Alive hands fucking down
I would post the youtube link but it would totally ruin the movie if anyone would want to see it... but in all serious, most badass ending ever. |
oh yeah. rockets!
another really just amazing scene is the scene between naomi watts and that old dude when she's auditioning in mulholland drive. it's not like a "WHOA OHMYGOD!!!!!" scene but the acting is so ridiculously great! |
I'm not sure anyone's said this yet, but the last shootout of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is amazing.
Actually, that whole movie is. Oh, and The Life Aquatic, when they're all in the sub. Beautiful. |
I think i mentioned the good the bad and the ugly finale. It's brilliant.
Did you figure out who's gonna shoot at who from the way they looked at each other??? |
YouTube - Bruce Lee- Game Of Death (1973)
Watching this again I kept thinking, those shades are never going to come off, if they had stayed on the entire fight, that would have made it from classic to priceless. |
