If you've been listening to Sonic Youth all this time and convinced yourselves that Pavement or Truman's Water are the pinnacle of eccentric taste, think twice, you're just as narrow-minded as before because you're now feeling complacent to the point you’ve stopped noticing that your curiosity does have a limit, after all. I mean, for someone to dismiss all ''Asian music'' because it sucks, so blatantly and unashamedly on a public forum, it proves once more that 90% of music fans, to semi-quote John Sharkey, are some of the worst people in the world.

Also, people who make such claims imply that ''Asian music'' is a cauldron filled with sounds produced by all Oriental musicians in the same vein, with the same intents, and little in terms of different artistic and geographical attitudes towards music-making. It doesn’t really take long to go on the internet and compare Aunt Sally to, say, G.I.S.M. or KK Null etc.
