well this is what he said that i quoted "I bet it would be easier to post links to 100 BAD Asian bands than it would be good ones.

Very few Asian bands ever really had any serious impact on me. Most seem to be some weird tacky interpretation of other music."

I often read some seriosuly dodgy opinions about Japanese hardcore on punk forums monopolised by Americans. Sometimes from people whose music I really enjoy, no less!!

i wasn't refering so much to his taste in music, but more of the claim that "most ASIAN bands seem to be some weird tacky interpretation of other music"
