None of us actually knew Jesus so to past judgement on him seems very unfair (this includes his most ardent fans too).

To be fair its the idea of 'Worship' I don't like. I find the worship of anything (people, gods, objects, bands) quite unneaving. I dont think the 'oh you are so much better than me, so brilliant, I could never hope to ever be as great as you' subservient nature of worship is healthy.

The other thing is I would hope the creator of the universe and everything would be far and above wanting such ego trips.

I can't tell you if there is a creative force, nobody knows...but the christian view of a father figure who sololy looks over planet earth and intercepts constantly in others lifes seems extremely hard to buy.
