Dear Gossipers,
I'm flying to New York and as big SY fan I would like to see some spots in New York which were importan for the band. Like the studio on Murray Street or records stores where I can buy ecstatic peace stuff. I really hope you can help me! Love from Amsterdam, Chris |

315 Bowery at Bleecker Street -where CBGBs used to be. Just because so many of their influences used to play there.
btw it's now a chase bank.

The space that was CBs is an art gallery/rock souvenir store now, not a bank. But I believe they've announced they're closing. If you want to see an old Manhattan neighborhood visit Downtown Music Gallery on Monroe st, call for hours. |
