any thoughts? I would have went with Little Trouble Girl or Tunic over this vid. Both of those vids I think are much more "arty", this one is more standard issue stuff. |

I think Dirty Boots is a fairly solid pick, though there are several I prefer. Such as Mary-Christ, Disappearer, Cinderella's Big Score, and 100%. But hmm, nah I think Dirty Boots is a fine pick. Great lighting in that video.
Interesting list all around though I suppose. Some obvious jams are on there like Sabatoge, Windowlicker, Praise You, whatever else. There are some head scratchers though like Cut Your Hair. Now that's a weird one I think. I think Range Life is a better pick, or Father To A Sister of Thought. Though admittedly hardly any of Pavement's music videos were any good. Love Rattled By The Rush though. And that Spiritualized song, hmm ok, no idea why that one's on there. They should've had Guided By Voices - I Am A Scientist on there, and I would've liked Sleater-Kinney's Get up and Mercury Rev's Bronx Cheer to make appearances. But ah well.

Dirty Boots is my wife's fave Sonic Youth video (and probably song).
Its the song we "fell in love to" - so yeah - it gets my "best ever" vote too. |

yeah I know what you saying Bjork 2 vids in top 10?!, that Weezer song at #2, come on! Also I don't care whether they hate them or not, but Freak on a Leash has to be in there somewhere.
Now that I think about it I'd put My Friend Goo as number 1 SY vid of the 90s, the perfect DIY vid. |

I extremely doubt pitchfork would put the video for Freak on a Leash on their site, even if the video is awesome.

I knew before even looking at the list that Buddy Holly would be way up there, which is silly. In Bloom had a similar concept some years earlier and I like that one way more.
Even though I don't like Korn, I do admit it's a cool video.
