Society's Ills In 1994 Society's Ills(Moore, Cadena, Watt, Markey) made their world premier with the now coveted "Skins, Brains, and Guts" release - a slab that managed to cram (9) 7 seconds covers onto one 7". In 2010, the band is back and once again fronted by Thurstonon but he brings with him a new crue of slayers to launch the hardcore fury: Thurston Moore: Vocals J Mascis: Guitar Don Fleming: Guitar Andrew W.K.: Bass Awesome Allison: Drums This set is their first, but don't worry if you miss it cause I'm sure we can put this together again in another 15 years! Yayyyy!!!!! Kick ass! |

AWESOME COLOR (Detroit, MI)
Further proving that Michigan is the capital of American style, AC do it loud. Pounding heavy drums and all-American guitar solos make for some fucking heavy jams, dude. not to be missed. And get ready for the new album “Massa Hypnos” out on Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace label, in April. http://www.myspace.com/awesomecolor |

Is there really going to be a Conrad/Oursler release?
And how about releasing the Maryanne Amacher documentary on DVD. |

Entrance Band s/t isn't what I'd call excellent, but it's MUCH better than what so many critics say about it. Maybe I'm biased, cause I love Guy Blakeslee to death, but it's not terrible like so many claim. Still doesn't touch Wandering Stranger or Prayer of Death though. |
