the jack vettriano comparison is just unfair. he is an untalented asshole.

I was speaking to Jack Vettriano's (pre-fame) ex-girlfriend and she told me that when she left him her mother told her to take one of his paintings before she left because it might be worth something one day. Her reply was to laugh and say "have you SEEN his paintings!".

I wouldn't be surprised if one of Andy Goldsworthy's ex girlfriends said something similar perhaps with the addition of "how the fuck am I meant to smuggle one of them under my jumper?".
