And also, I don't care to go back and fix typing/grammatical errors. I'm not being graded.

Although we respectfully disagree (Sonic Youth's NYC Ghosts & Flowers is clearly the worst album of all time) -Pitchfork (hahahah!) Bush is not a mason. he is an evangelical christian, fundamentalist born again dipshit, and those people never join up an inter-religion association like the Freemasons. The Free masons are a fraternity of men who come together in the belief that all religions are valid courses to enlightenment, and that all religious beliefs are therefore on an equal footing, and most organized religions of the world find this very very unsettling, as they all preach and demand the belief in their individual supremacy over all other religions, as the one true religion for the one true god. that is why the rfreemasons are a secret society, not because they are shady, but to protect their members from persecution within their own personal religious groups.
the united states was set up as the first SECULAR nation in the world. The founding fathers did this because of their belief in the inability of religion to lead a government without bias. every asshole that claims these days that the founding fathers were literal christians and that they based everything in the constituion on christian beliefs is a fuicking liar and a con man and they know exactly what they are doing, misleading a population. The separation of church and state is the single greatest most important idea in political governance of the past 250 years. At the time, every other nation on earth was ruled either by a religious leader or by a royal family expressing fealty to a religious leader and/or religion. secularism is the way to go. the nationalist socialist party (nazis) were a christian party, a pope endorsed CATHOLIC national government. The fascists in Italy also.

Teehee I guess it wasn't really a waste of time though, because I did get to see another viewpoint. But I just don't agree with it. I think the kid could have done a much better job if he did more research and didn't jump to conclusions so quickly. From what I've read and seen on different online sources and on Nation Geographic channel, there is plenty of proof that Al'Qaeda did indeed hijack some airplanes and smash them into buildings. Edit: the mason thing must be history teacher/urban legend. 13 signers of the constitution and 14 presidents were masons, including Washington. I don't think religion has much to do with the presidency, you'd think that Nixon would have been a more liberal president than Kennedy, being that Nixon was a Quaker and Kennedy was a Catholic. I think a president's religion has more to do with their image than their convictions in my opinion. I doubt Bush gives a rats ass about God. He just uses it to further his political career. |
