So does Hypermagic... ! I like that they didn't try to fill up Side 4 but rather gave us those vinyl etchings.

Here's another boss double albums... thw who- tommy and quadrophenia. I can't believe these haven't been mentioned yet, the who fuckin rock n roll storybook time. and on Zep... I myself used to love em back in middle school and then had a falling out.. But now I liek em from time to time. I remember once smoking and drinking to stairway and it was awesome. Yes, stairway is awesome. ALso, whole lotta love, tangerine, living loving she's just a woman, and trampled underfoot.

It's the russian version of DDN, it's the first image I saw when googling it. It's 2xLP!

This is the best list anyone's posted so far. To these I might add... Monoshock "Walk to the Fire" Shadow Ring "Lighthouse" Einstürzende Neubauten "Strategies Against Architecture" v/a "The Master Tape" vol. 2 "Trout Mask Replica," of course. The new Yellow Swans "Psychic Secession" double-LP on Weird Forest--with a D-side of exclusive bonus material--might earn its way into the pantheon, too.

Yo La Tengo's latest is a pretty good double album. So is NNCK's Qvaris.

but on the back cover in this picture there's only songs for side 1 and side 2... i remember seeing it once, i guess they took half of it away for the russian edition... so that specific picture isn't double... could be also that it was released as 2 separate albums? |

is the tracklisting for the russian version somewhere? i mean, is there someone from russia here who could help? i see the second track has word "raketa" on it so i take it it's "silver rocket"... and the first track on b-side has the word "erika"... eric's trip? the next "hei dzonni" or something so that's hey joni. oh, then it's providence... but i don't know the rest.
i know this is offtopic but kinda interesting... |
