Rams 41, Lions 34. The Rams go three and one.
The Rams other two wins came by defending superbly and saw some excellent kicking for points (especially in week one vs Denver), so it was strange to see us taking part in a score-fest and coming out on top, even if Detroit are having a disastrous start to the season). Good play from Jackson and Miller. Three and one. That's already half the wins that the Rams managed last season.

You're doing your fine city a disservice, I think; is it not true that you also have some kind of toy museum and a botanical garden?

We have a budweiser brewery as well, but it is on the wrong side of the tracks.

Apparantly, it's called the 'Eugene Field House and St. Louis Toy Museum'. Eugene Field was presumably an important bod at some point, although my knowledge of St Louis doesn't extend that far.

And it seems that you have a butterfly house. That's a lovely thing to have. They have a very nice butterfly house in Lancaster (small and charming English city), and there'stwo butterfly nature reserves within a few miles of where I live.

'Yeah!' (you have to imagine that said in an American accent, rather than a dour John-Peelish Northern English one for it to work. Like they do in films). John Peel is from a part of the world very close to me, you know.

Rams 23, Packers 20. A vital turnover with 36 seconds remaining seals a 4 and 1 start for the Rams.

Looks like the Rams are taking a hit today. 4th quarter and it's 38 - 24 to San Diego.

Of course, Shawne Merriman (he had a couple of big sacks today on Bulger), the second-year linebacker for the Chargers, is a big cheater. When he's suspended for four games due to his steroid use, the Chargers defense will still help them win games even without him. He won't be let go, but I wouldn't care if he was. Is he a dominant force? Yes, undoubtedly so. But, he also blows big games by refusing to tackle normally. He did this in a couple I can remember from last year; he was still defensive rookie of the year though. After San Diego beat Indianapolis last year, he started to get a lot of media attention, and after that, he started to suck the rest of the season. This year, he single-handedly allowed the Ravens to score on a last-minute drive to cause that loss because he was too concerned with delivering a "lights out" hit instead of just tackling. In short, the Chargers are my favorite team, but as for Merriman, fuck that meathead fool. I realize there are many other players using performance-enhancing drugs that simply haven't been caught, but, to me, that's besides the point because Merriman did get caught, and thus, he is a cheater beyond any shadow of a doubt.

^Yeah I hate when DB's try and knock someone out instead of just making the damn tackle.....the Redskins always do that.
